We were so fortunate today to meet Mobül’s newest customer, Mildred Wallerstein, who will turn 101 years old on July 8th. Still driving and living on her own, Mildred is an amazing example of living life to its fullest. Thanks, Mildred, for showing us all how it’s done!
I feel young and this pink walker with all the added accessories has put a spirited spring in my step! Mobül provides wonderful service and is a great place to find whatever you need.
“Thank you Mobül for helping make our Halloween extra special. We had a blast!!” Rebecca Mason
A scooter rental from Mobül allowed Grandpa to join the fun, making the evening all the more special for his granddaughter.
I could kiss Debra. With 15 minutes before the store closed, she patiently walked me through what my mom would need. She told me the cheaper bedrail would suffice, not upselling me at all. My mom just got out of the hospital with double pneumonia and I drove an hour and a half just to come to Mobül. Many similar stores are near me, but they are cramped, under-supplied and not especially helpful. Coming back for a second time today I was pleased to meet the owner and learn that Mobül’s mission and vision statements lined up with my life philosophy of compassion and kindness. Being so far from my mom worries me as I want her to be fully cared for and was almost in tears to learn that Mobül offers home delivery and installation referrals. Thank you from the deepest corners of my heart!!!
Mobül feels comfortable. The staff was so helpful, really educated in their product knowledge and they seemed legitimately concerned that we had the correct items for our situation. We felt aided, not attacked for the sale.
I love the iWalk!! So much Freedom and Liberation. 2 Hands Free! Roy Hanna is a certified iWalk fitter. Excellent!!!
Mobül is a dream come true! I didn’t know where to begin. It’s brilliant.
I love my rose festooned compression socks. What a difference in my legs!
My new lift chair encourages me to relax during the day and put up my feet because it is soooo comfortable.
My husband had unexpected knee surgery at the end of May, but we had already planned a prepaid three (3) day family vacation to the Grand Californian and Disneyland.
He was unable to walk without crutches, let alone stand in expected long lines. We knew he would never make it three (3) days. We made a dry run to Disneyland and inquired on disabled persons policies and procedures. They gave us the requested information along with their pricing for wheelchairs and electric scooters. They are very expensive and on a first come first serve basis with no guarantee of availability.
After reviewing their information, we decided to try the Mobül store in Long Beach to see what they had to offer. They gave us some great advice and options to think about. After all was said and done, we chose to rent an electric scooter; which was half the Disneyland rate and for four days vs. one. We picked up the scooter and went on our vacation and had a fantastic time. The ease of use was truly remarkable.
We must say, this was the first time for us in this situation and the Mobül store was the place to go. The entire staff was kind, helpful and courteous. They went above and beyond to find exactly what we needed for our situation. And they were right, we would have never made the trip without the scooter and listening to their advice.
Thank you to the staff at the Mobül store, Long Beach – you saved our vacation! If we are ever in this type of situation again or if we need anything to do with mobility assistance, we are definitely coming back to you.
I would like to share a problem I had with my 93-year-old mother who lives alone. I took her to her doctor for a checkup. My mother had trouble walking, so I used a wheelchair for her. The doctor was going through all her tests, but when it came to looking at her legs, she was wearing pants. The next thing I saw was horrible, she had water blisters and her legs were swollen with edema. The doctor told her she has to elevate her legs and to come back in two weeks.
The next day, I started looking for a chair that reclines because she loves to watch sporting events on TV. My daughter suggested Mobül. They have a large choice of mobility equipment. I took my mom over and we settled on a Golden Lift Chair (made in the USA). She became so relaxed she actually fell asleep in the demo chair.
Two weeks went by and we went back for a re-check of her legs. My mom had told me they were looking better, but when the doctor rolled up her pants she said, “WOW! The edema problem is completely gone!” She asked her what she had done to correct the edema, so we told her about the chair. She was very impressed.
My Mom and I are thankful for Mobül and the Golden Lift Chair because it changed her life.
